I am from Healdsburg, CA and attended Windsor High School. I was previously at Santa Rosa Junior College then transferred to UC Berkeley in the Fall 2025 semester. I am currently a Junior, and I am majoring in Legal Studies. I was fortunate enough to receive good aid at the school I am currently at but there is still a good portion of my finances which I am responsible for on my own. By providing a portion of my financial support, it is a large weight taken off of me.

I graduated from Healdsburg High School in 2024 and am currently a second-year student at UCLA working towards completing my bachelor’s in microbiology, immunology, and molecular genetics. After UCLA I hope to continue to a graduate program and pursue a PhD in virology and work in research studying viruses and immune response. It’s been a huge blessing to have been awarded the Oakmont Rainbow Womens’ scholarship through 10,000 Degrees, as I hope to continue my education through to a graduate degree.

I attended Roseland Collegiate Prep High School in Santa Rosa. I am currently a third-year student at the University of California, San Diego, double majoring in Media Industries, Communications and Sociology. Being part of the ORW scholarship program has meant so much to me, and I’m incredibly grateful for the opportunity to share my story with the community. Beyond the financial support, it has been incredibly affirming to know that a community of women believes in me and is invested in my education and future.

I attended Santa Rosa High School, and I am currently attending Santa Rosa Junior College. I am in my second year. My major is History, but I’m also pursuing an associate’s degree in social and behavioral sciences and a theatre/acting certificate. The ORW scholarship has helped with my education are that I don’t have to worry about getting a job to pay for stuff like tuition for classes, which is very expensive, and I mainly use the scholarship for that.
